Beaumont Manor Celebrates Opening of 21 Newly Refurbished Bedrooms

Beaumont Manor proudly celebrated the official opening of 21 newly refurbished bedrooms with a special cheese and wine evening and ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by residents, families, staff and members of the local community.
Located on Kirby Road in Frinton-on-Sea, the care home marked the completion of its refurbishment project with a warm and welcoming event led by local Councillor Mark Platt and his wife. The celebration featured speeches from the management team and invited guests, before the new unit was formally declared open in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, symbolising an exciting new chapter for the home.

The refurbishment project has transformed 21 bedrooms, creating modern, bright, and comfortable living spaces designed to enhance residents’ day-to-day experience. Improvements include enhanced accessibility and safety features, upgraded furnishings and décor to create a truly homely environment, and improved facilities to promote residents’ wellbeing, comfort, and dignity.
Residents and guests enjoyed a relaxed cheese and wine reception as they toured the newly updated rooms, reflecting on the home’s continued commitment to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive setting.
Speaking at the event, Councillor Mark Platt said:
“It is fantastic to see investment in facilities that support older members of our community. Beaumont Manor continues to demonstrate its dedication to providing a safe, modern, and caring environment.”
Home Manager Monica Boldeata expressed her pride in the completed project and thanked staff and supporters for their hard work and dedication throughout the refurbishment process.
